For the past 20 years, I have been heavily involved in developing and maintaining Windows-based client-server applications. These projects ranged from a CRM application for a small start-up company to a business management application for a non-profit organisation with well over 1000 users.
The server part of these Windows-based client-server applications was almost always a MS SQL Server database. In the projects I worked on, the client was created with MS Access, Delphi or C#.
